GDPR and Data Processing Agreement
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a challenge for many – for us, it is a promise. CAI® World was specifically developed for the secure online handling of sensitive information.
For us, data protection is not an obligation, but a lived conviction.
That’s why we don’t just implement GDPR requirements – we live them to the highest standard. What this means for you:
- Processing exclusively according to the strictest legal requirements
- Transparency, traceability, and security on all levels
CAI® World – because data protection is more than a promise. It is our standard – and contractually regulated.
When you conclude your user contract, you usually also sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) – clearly structured and, of course, GDPR-compliant.
Would you like to review the DPA in advance?
Gladly! Just contact us – we will make the agreement available to you for review at any time.
CAI® World – because trust begins with clarity.

Select contract documents
Confidentiality – intelligently managed, consistently protected
Confidentiality is no coincidence – it is the result of a well-designed security concept.
In CAI® World, a finely tuned role and rights management ensures that only authorized persons gain access to sensitive content. Through individually definable groups, you specify exactly who may view, edit, or manage what. This keeps your data where it belongs.
Technically secured – contractually guaranteed
Our servers are operated exclusively in certified, high-security data centers – featuring comprehensive access and entry controls. This protection is complemented by clear contractual regulations such as:
Security on all levels
Whether during storage or transmission – your data is encrypted end-to-end. This ensures that confidentiality is not only promised, but also technically enforced.
Because confidentiality is more than a feature. It is our foundation.
Secure connections – protected every step of the way
In the digital world, every connection matters – and at CAI® World, each one is secure.
Your data does not travel unprotected through the internet but is reliably shielded by modern encryption technologies.
Transport Layer Security (TLS) forms the backbone of secure data transmission. For audio and video conferences, we additionally rely on WebRTC, which encrypts conversations – ensuring private communication without unauthorized access.
Encrypted data storage
In CAI® World, valuable content is created – and we ensure it remains secure.
All data developed during your sessions can be stored and later retrieved for documentation or continued work. The rule is: Whatever is stored remains protected.
Your data is stored on our servers in fully encrypted form. Even in the event of physical access to storage media, your information remains unreadable.
Individual protection levels – you decide
When creating a session, you can choose additional protection mechanisms that go beyond standard measures – from maximum convenience to the highest confidentiality.

Advanced encryption with individual passphrase
In this process, a passphrase is defined and subsequently used for AES encryption. To further increase security, this passphrase is neither stored nor transmitted to the server.
Access with security – flexible, anonymous, or personalized
✔ Secure access with a personal account
After confirming a contact request, your communication partners create their own account – protected by a self-selected password. This offers your contacts:
- Access protection through individual login details
- Self-determined access to shared sessions
- Seamless, even asynchronous, continuation of work with content and documentation
Until the contact request is confirmed, no personal data is stored – privacy remains protected.
✔ Anonymous participation with pseudonym
For spontaneous or particularly sensitive conversations:
- Participation without an account
- Pseudonym-based access – anonymous and data-minimizing
CAI® World – because digital collaboration should be secure and individual.
